In an all-day seminar, world-renowned globe-trotter Ian Plant will inspire us with his mages of the beauties of Earth and teach us how to see through the eyes of a dedicated photographer.


Whether hanging over the rim of an active volcano, braving the elements to photograph critically-endangered species, or trekking deep into the wilderness to places most people will never see, world-renowned professional photographer Ian Plant travels the globe seeking out amazing places and subjects in his never-ending quest to capture the beauty of our world with his camera. Known for his inspiring images and single-minded dedication to creating the perfect photo, Ian has reached hundreds of thousands of people around the world in his mission to inspire and educate others in the art of photography. Ian is a frequent contributor to many leading photo magazines, Managing Editor of Outdoor Photography Guide, a Tamron Image Master, and the author of numerous books and instructional videos. SEMINAR SCHEDULE


Inspiring photos are made when the photographer compels viewers to see the world in a way they never have before. Drawing lessons from his newest ebook "Unseeing," Ian will share the techniques that are at the core of his artistic process. Join Ian for this enlightening and exciting seminar as he shares his insights about the creative use of composition, story-telling, and light to make photos that attract attention and never let go.


This all-day seminar will commence at 9:00 am with a midmorning break. Lunch, on your own, will be from 12:00 - 1:30 pm, and there will be a mid-afternoon break




No food or beverages, with the exception of water, is allowed in the auditorium. Please park in the parking garage, 122 Estudillo Ave., on the same side as the library. Parking is free on weekends. If you park at the library, there is a two-hour limit and your car would be ticketed!!!
